I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist my entire life. Well, since the age of 8. When I was 15 years old, I was granted my first apprenticeship opportunity in London which lasted a total of 5-years. A few years later I found myself training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, which forever changed the trajectory of my life by furthering my love for the art of hairstyling. I then traveled to Paris, France where I studied at the Dessange Hair Academy, and then later, by invite, I returned to London where I studied at The London College of Fashion. Over the next two decades I traveled the globe multiple times over working as both a brand educator and hairstylist training instructor for the international beauty brand Joico, where I was tasked with teaching thousands of up-and-coming stylists across dozens of countries. Fast-forward to 2007, and I once again find myself in the spotlight as both the winner of BRAVO’s Shear Genius (s1), and as a style and makeover expert on TLC’s Ten Years Younger. Looking back on my career, I will be the first to acknowledge just how fortunate I have been, and though there is a lot to be proud of including the fact that I have previously owned three other salons throughout Los Angeles, I am most proud of THE LONDONER in Hermosa Beach and what it stands for. There is nothing more gratifying than being a part of the incredible South Bay community and providing our guests with an elegant salon experience unlike any other. Therefore, I welcome you, your friends, and of course your family, to visit us at our newly redesigned premier open-[h]air salon and experience for yourself the salon everyone is talking about! I know I speak for my entire team when I say - We look forward to serving you!
